I went to Camp Fair Haven every summer in my teen years back in the 60's. Rev Pies was the the pastor then.
The church was on Hubbell.

Message: I went to Pastor's school ntil 6th grade. We use to camp out at the lake every summer. I was a youth worker and cabin worker as well during the summer camps for the less fortunate. Message: As a young boy, I remember going to "Church Lake" to swim and chase the blue racers around. Pastor Pies was the Pastor then and Salem was on Hubbel in Detroit. Such a long time ago. My Grandfather was the Choir director and my Grandmother, Dad, and Uncle sang in the Choir.
It's good to see that the Lake is still part of the Church. Someday I will have to go back.
